🛡️ Heroes

Introduction

Heroes are the heart and driving force of the world of War of Continents.
They are the living embodiment of a player’s will — the only way to act upon the world. Through heroes, players explore lands, gather resources, complete missions, develop elements, and influence the balance of power across the Continents.

Without heroes, nothing moves. They are the link between the player and the ever-evolving world.

Each hero is an NFT, created through the process of minting.
Once minted, a hero becomes a unique digital asset that fully belongs to its owner. Players can:

  • 🗡️ Use heroes in gameplay;
  • 💰 Trade them — buy, sell, or exchange on the market;
  • 🧭 Store them as collectibles;
  • 🎁 Transfer them to other players.

A hero is therefore more than a character — it’s a blend of artistic identity, gameplay functionality, and blockchain ownership.

Hero Attributes Overview

Every hero is defined by a rich set of attributes that determine who they are, what they can do, and what state they are currently in.
All hero attributes fall into three main groups:

  1. Innate attributes — fixed forever from the moment of creation.
  2. Developing attributes — those that grow as the hero gains experience.
  3. Tactical attributes — describing the hero’s current position and activity in the world.

🌟 Innate Attributes

Each hero is born unique.
The set of innate attributes defines their nature, essence, and starting potential. These parameters are fixed at birth and can never be changed — even by the owner.

Gender

Heroes may be male or female.
Gender does not directly affect power but determines visual design and artistic style.
In future epochs, gender may influence story-driven missions or cosmetic interactions.

Element

Every hero belongs to one of the four Elements:
🌬️ Air, 🔥 Fire, 💧 Water, or 🌿 Earth.
The element defines the hero’s inner energy and affinity with specific missions and roles.
Combining heroes of different elements often creates strategic advantages and affects the balance of the player’s forces.

Rarity

Rarity reflects the hero’s overall quality and potential.
It ranges from Common to Legendary and influences both the hero’s visual detail and gameplay strength.
Rare heroes possess stronger base parameters and may have access to exclusive Miracles or special skills.

Motherland

Some heroes have a Motherland — a land to which they are eternally bound.
Each land can have only one such hero, forming a permanent and unbreakable bond between the two.
This connection is unique and cannot be replicated: most heroes have no Motherland at all.
Those who do are considered bound heroes — guardians, founders, or chosen spirits of their respective lands.
The existence of such a link gives both the hero and the land special narrative and symbolic significance within the world of War of Continents.

Generation

Generation defines when the hero was created.
Early generations are rarer and often hold historical or symbolic significance, making them valuable to collectors and strategists alike.

Base Skills

Each hero is born with a set of base skill values — starting parameters that shape their early potential.
These initial values depend on rarity and element and serve as the foundation for all further development.

🔱 Developing Attributes

As heroes live, act, and gain experience, they grow stronger.
Developing attributes reflect this evolution — the accumulation of knowledge, power, and spirit over time.

Experience and Level

Every hero gains experience points (heroXP) by completing missions and participating in events.
Accumulated experience increases the hero’s level, a general measure of power and maturity.

A higher level enhances skill performance, improves mission results, and unlocks access to advanced activities.
Leveling up represents the natural evolution of a hero — shaped by the player’s actions and strategic decisions.

Skill Improvement

Skills define what a hero is truly good at.
By completing missions and earning rewards, heroes can raise their skill levels — whether it’s gathering elementals, collecting gold, or performing special assignments.

Each improvement requires growing effort but brings noticeable results.
Skill development forms a long-term progression path, making every hero unique and valuable.

Shards

Shards are fragments of elemental energy reflecting a hero’s inner potential.
They can be granted to a hero by the player and are used to enhance characteristics or unlock deeper powers through the Miracle system.

⚔️ Tactical Attributes

Tactical attributes describe the current state of a hero — where they are, what they are doing, and how they interact with the world.
These parameters are dynamic and constantly change as the game unfolds.

Residence

A hero’s residence is the land where they currently stay.
Residence determines available missions, bonuses, and resource interactions — especially if the hero’s element matches the land’s nature.
Heroes can relocate between their own lands or temporarily visit others during missions and events.

Mission Status

A hero may be idle or assigned to a mission.
While on a mission, the hero cannot perform other actions but gains experience and rewards upon completion.
Efficient mission management is a key strategic layer: how a player distributes heroes across lands and tasks directly affects growth and success in the world of War of Continents.

🛡️ Equipment and Armor

Every hero in War of Continents can be equipped with items that enhance their skills and improve survival in missions.
Equipment represents the material side of power — forged, enchanted, or discovered through effort and luck.

Purpose

Armor and gear provide practical bonuses that complement a hero’s skills and element.
Different types of missions, elements, and playstyles will favor specific equipment combinations.

✨ Summary

Heroes are not just avatars — they are living links between players and the elemental world.
Through them, players shape the destiny of lands, influence the flow of gold and elementals, and leave their mark on the grand saga of the Continents.
