Getting Started with Arbitrum Sepolia

This guide explains how to prepare your wallet and browser to join the War of Continents testnet.

Make sure you’re using a desktop or laptop. You’ll be able to play the game on a mobile device just like on a regular PC, but minting heroes and lands must be done on a computer.

1. Install and Prepare MetaMask​

  • What is MetaMask? MetaMask is a crypto wallet that lets you connect to blockchain applications directly from your browser.
  • Browser compatibility: Works best on Chrome or Brave.
  • Install: If you don’t have it yet, download it from metamask.io.

2. Connect to Arbitrum Sepolia​

War of Continents currently runs on the Arbitrum Sepolia testnet. You’ll need to add it to MetaMask:

Why is this needed? Some actions in the game (minting, upgrading) is recorded on blockchain. The testnet simulates real play without spending real money.

3. Get Test ETH for Gas Fees​

Transactions on any blockchain require gas fees (paid in ETH). The same is required on the test network, but here “test ETH” is used.

On testnet, you can claim free "ETH" from faucets: 👉 Arbitrum Faucet 👉 Arbitrum Faucet

Faucets work the way they work — sometimes they may refuse to give out coins, but most of the time they work fine. You just need to try, as this is beyond our control.

4. Add Game Tokens to Your Wallet​

The game uses two main tokens on testnet:

  • WOC Platinum Coin (WOCPTC) — the core in-game token
  • Test Dollar (TSTUSD) — used for testing purchases and economy

Add them manually in MetaMask: WOCPTC: 0x611A598de0422Da1842Ab52Ea1D2471eF7F8B6c7 TSTUSD: 0xC4379dAFdeaf9b79FdBf7b00732861F36022c127

Copy and paste these addresses into MetaMask → Import Tokens.

5. Request Test Dollars​

To start playing, you’ll need some TSTUSD. Just drop me a message in our Discord testnet channel, and I’ll send you some.
