History and Ancient Conflicts
📖 History and Ancient Conflicts
The Great Sundering
A cataclysmic event known only as The Great Sundering tore the world apart, severing Aleph from its twin continent, Beth. The cause of this disaster is lost to time, buried in forgotten ruins and half-remembered myths. Some claim it was the wrath of the elements; others, a failed ritual or war among ancient powers.
The Lost Continent of Beth
What became of Beth is unknown. Some believe it was consumed by the sea, others that it fell into the sky — or deeper underground. Only scattered references survive: forbidden symbols, sealed gateways, and ancient maps with missing coordinates.
"When fire meets water and air yields to earth, the path to Beth will awaken once more."
— Inscription found in the shattered ruins of Khar-Tal, untranslated for centuries.
No one knows if Beth still exists. But some adventurers claim to have seen impossible lights beyond the horizon, and strange elemental disturbances that suggest something — or someone — is stirring.
