Minting Heroes

Heroes are the explorers, workers, and warriors of War of Continents. They perform missions, bring resources, and define your overall strategy.

The free Frontier path can grant non-NFT Heroes through registration and early Profile Levels. This page explains how to mint NFT Heroes for wallet ownership.

Hero

Without Heroes, your Lands remain idle. With them, your empire begins to grow.

⚔️ Hero Attributes​

Each Hero has several important attributes that define their role in the game:

  • Gender — every Hero has a natural identity.
  • Element — each belongs to one of the four forces: Air, Fire, Water, Earth.
  • Rarity — from Common to Legendary, rarity determines overall strength and uniqueness.

These traits make every Hero distinct and valuable.

📜 Hero Skills​

In addition to basic attributes, every Hero has 8 different skills. These skills strongly influence how the Hero behaves in missions: how much Gold they bring, how many Elementals they can find, or how effective they are in battles and tasks.

Skills can be improved over time, allowing your Heroes to grow and become more powerful as you progress.

👉 Hero Skills Upgrade​

Hero skill allocation is available on the hero detail SKILLS tab. Players can stage temporary skill-point changes and, when profile-level access allows it, save or reset them through the existing authenticated mission workflows. The speed of the Hero Skill Upgrade mission depends on the Hero’s Agility skill. The speed of the Hero Skill Reset mission depends on the Hero’s Agility skill.

🔮 Hidden Characteristics​

Every Hero also carries hidden characteristics that are not yet revealed. These secrets will be uncovered in later Epochs, bringing new layers of strategy and value.

🌟 Generation Zero​

NFT Heroes created through the current minting paths are classified as Generation Zero. Generation is a persistent part of a Hero’s identity.

Hero Legacy and reproduction are not currently planned. The Generation Zero classification does not announce later Hero generations or a deadline for direct minting. Players can continue minting Generation Zero NFT Heroes through the supported Platinum path under its ordinary rules.

💰 Hero Cost​

The current configured cost for direct Hero minting is 10 Platinum Coins (WOCPTC). The spent Platinum is burned. This is the current cost rather than a permanent pricing guarantee.

Alternatively, Heroes can be obtained through the rare Endorsement Letter, a special item that allows minting without spending Platinum.

Finally, every NFT Land you own grants the right to mint one Hero for free. This is separate from Frontier grants: Frontier gives new accounts playable in-game Heroes, while the Land-based mint creates an NFT Hero.

📝 Step-by-Step Guide​

  1. Connect your wallet to the website.
  2. Choose how you want to mint — with Platinum, an Endorsement Letter, or an eligible NFT Land.
    • If you choose Platinum, the amount will be automatically deducted from your address.
    • If you choose an Endorsement Letter, the token will be automatically deducted from your address.
    • If you choose to mint a Hero from your Land, a field will appear to enter the Land number. Please enter the number of a Land from which you have not yet claimed a Hero.
  3. Click the Buy Hero button.
  4. Complete the wallet transactions requested by the selected minting path:
    • approve the required Platinum or mint item when approval is needed;
    • submit the Hero mint transaction.
