Skills
A hero’s skills are the cornerstone of their effectiveness in the game. These abilities not only determine how well they perform various tasks, but also influence the strategic decisions players make as they develop and refine their team. Mastering and improving skills opens the door to greater rewards, ensuring heroes reach their full potential on the battlefield and beyond.
Each hero has eight skills, but their base values can vary greatly. Below is a more detailed overview of each talent.
Mastery
Mastery – a gift of skilled hands and a focused mind. Whether shaping stone, forging steel, or crafting intricate tools, the hero’s mastery turns effort into excellence. The higher this talent, the faster the hero brings structures to life and breathes form into raw materials.
In days of old, when kingdoms rose on stone and steel, those with the gift of Masterity were revered as the hands of progress. Through hammer and chisel, thread and timber, they shaped the world itself. A hero bearing this talent builds with swift precision, their works enduring the test of time.
Intelligence
Intelligence - the ability to think critically and solve problems. It determines how well a hero can analyze situations and make decisions.
In the annals of heroes, not all triumphs were won by blade or bow. Some were earned by the keen mind and steady thought. Those blessed with Intelligence read truth in shadows, unraveled riddles of war and peace, and guided their paths with wisdom that outlasted empires.
Resilience
Resilience – the hero’s inner strength and ability to recover swiftly from harm. It defines how well they endure adversity, resist damage, and stand firm against the trials of battle and fate.
Tales speak of those who did not fall when others broke. Heroes of great Resilience bore wounds without yielding, stood unshaken before storms of steel and fire. Their strength lay not in might alone, but in the will to rise, again and again, when hope seemed lost.
Agility
Agility - the ability to move quickly and easily. It determines how fast a hero can react to situations and how well they can navigate obstacles.
In the songs of old, the fleet of foot danced through hail and flame, their steps as fluid as water, their strikes too swift for the eye. Agility marked such heroes — those who moved like whispers through chaos, weaving between peril with the elegance of wind-borne leaves.
Charisma
Charisma – the hero’s power to inspire, persuade, and lead. It reflects how naturally they connect with others, sway opinions, and stir hearts with words or presence alone.
Many battles were won before the swords were drawn, led by voices that kindled courage or bent wills without force. Heroes of great Charisma walked among kings and common folk alike, their words binding men stronger than chains, their presence a flame that lit the spirits of those who followed.
Luck
Luck – the subtle force of fortune that tilts fate in the hero’s favor. It shapes how often chance smiles upon them, bringing unexpected boons, narrow escapes, and fortunate twists of destiny.
Bards sing of heroes touched by fate, who found hidden paths, dodged unseen arrows, and drew the winning lot when all seemed lost. Such is the mark of Luck — an unseen companion that walks beside the chosen, whispering to chance and weaving fortune into their tale.
Efficiency
Efficiency – the hero’s gift for making the most of what they have. It reflects how wisely they manage time, energy, and resources to achieve their goals with minimal waste and maximum effect.
Among the storied few are those who built wonders from scraps and triumphed with but a whisper of what others squandered. These heroes, marked by Efficiency, turned moments into victories and meager tools into mighty deeds, guided by purpose where others faltered in excess.
Strength
Strength – the hero’s raw physical power and might. It defines how effectively they perform demanding tasks, break through obstacles, and endure the burdens of the body.
Legends tell of warriors who split shields with a single blow and carried allies from the jaws of death. Their Strength was more than muscle — it was the force that shaped destinies, shattered walls, and stood unyielding when the world pressed down with all its weight.
Skill Mechanics
Each skill’s value is determined across several layers: the base value, upgrades, rarity bonus and equipment if any. The final (after equioment) skill value is then used to calculate the hero’s effectiveness in every mission.
Base
Base skill values range from 0 to 25, are assigned at the moment the hero is minted, and remain fixed throughout the game.
Upgrade or upskill
Through upgrades, a skill level can be increased to a maximum of 75. However, the process of allocating skill points comes with its own limitations.
Rarity bonus
Each rarity level (except common) proportionally increases the total skill value with upgrades by approximately 25-27%.
Equipment
Equipment worn by the hero further enhances skill values, with the extent of the increase depending on the type of equipment.
