Epoch 1 marks the foundation of War of Continents. In this phase, players enter the world by minting their first NFT Lands and Generation 0 Heroes, setting the stage for all future growth. This Epoch introduces essential gameplay systems, resource loops, and the core mechanics of upgrading and exploration.
We recommend starting with at least one Land and three to four Heroes to fully experience the game loop. Lands serve as your resource hubs, while Heroes are the engine that drives all actions — from missions to upgrades.

💰 Platinum Coins (WOCPTC)
Platinum Coins are the ERC-20 token at the heart of the War of Continents ecosystem. They are used to:
- Mint new Lands and Heroes
- Access and unlock missions
- Fuel future upgrades and events
Platinum Coins are tradable both inside and outside the game, forming a bridge between gameplay and the broader blockchain economy.
🏞 Lands
Lands are your primary base of operations:
- Minted as NFTs via Platinum
- Have unique attributes: type, coordinates, building slots, elemental affinities
- Act as resource containers and production centers
Lands produce Gold, store Elementals, and evolve through upgrades. Each Land holds four Elements — Air, Fire, Water, Earth — which determine efficiency and bonuses. The stronger your Elements, the more your Land yields.
🧝 Heroes
Heroes are the lifeblood of your empire:
- Minted with Platinum
- Have randomized stats:
- Rarity (Common to Legendary)
- Gender
- Element (Air, Fire, Water, Earth)
- Base characteristics
Every Hero is an NFT and required for all in-game actions. The Generation 0 Heroes minted during Epoch 1 are limited-edition and provide early adopters with exclusive advantages and long-term strategic value.

Missions are the key gameplay activity in Epoch 1. They are performed by Heroes and serve to gather resources, develop your Lands, and strengthen your strategic position.

🔄 Hero Transfer
New Heroes must complete this mission to be stationed on a Land. Without it, they can’t participate in gameplay.

💎 Elemental Search
Elementals are rare and vital. You’ll need them constantly for upgrades. Heroes search for them and bring them back to be stored in Vaults.
The speed of the Elemental Search mission depends on the Hero’s Resilience skill.
💰 Claim Gold
Collect the Gold your Lands generate over time. Use it for upgrades and eventually, for trades and marketplace actions.
The speed of the Claim Gold mission depends on the Hero’s Agility skill.
🔒 Upgrade Vaults of Element
Elementals leak over time from Vessels. Upgrading Seals reduces this leakage and helps maintain your resource supply.
The speed of the Upgrade Seal of Element mission depends on the Hero’s Mastery skill.
🔥 Upgrade Towers of Elements
Stronger Towers of Elements on a Land = more Gold per hour. Use Elementals and Gold to level up your Land’s four Elements.

🔍 Seal Hunt
Search for new Seals. These items are crucial to preserving Elementals and enhancing land efficiency.

A simple, recurring quest with randomized rewards — great for passive progress and testing Hero performance.
