Elementals Vaults

I believe the idea of constantly depleting resources is fresh and intriguing. It encourages players not to settle for what they've achieved because any delay leads to resource loss, which must be continuously replenished.

Motivation

Elementals in the War of Continents world are highly mobile and unrestricted. They are difficult to find but even harder to retain. They constantly strive to break free and return to their natural habitat.

It’s also important to understand that elementals are indivisible; there are no fractional amounts. Their quantity is always expressed in whole numbers.

Vaults are storages

We refer to the elemental storage as a Vault, but we always visualize it as a vessel. The leakage of elementals can be compared to water seeping through poorly made pottery. Except in our case, the Vault is of excellent quality, but the contents are exceptionally fluid.

Leakage

The rate of leakage in absolute terms depends on how many elementals are inside the vessel. The leakage rate is measured as a percentage per day—how much of the vessel's content seeps out through the walls over 24 hours. For each vessel (for each element), this leakage happens independently, which makes sense since they are different vessels. And the more elementals in the vessel, the more of them will leak out in absolute terms over a given time period.

The leakage rate can be reduced by applying Elemental Seals, which slow down the rate of leakage. However, even the most improved Vaults will continue to lose their elementals, albeit at a significantly slower rate.

Seals

Seals come in various rarities and belong to different elements. They can be applied one after another, and each element can only be improved with its corresponding seal.

Take, for example, a brand new Fire Elemental Vault that hasn’t yet had any seals applied. The leakage rate, as discussed earlier, will be 70% per day. You can improve this Vault by applying a Common Seal of Fire, and only this one—applying more advanced seals right away is not possible. Applying a Common Seal of Elements will reduce the leakage rate by 10%, down to 60% per day.

After the Common Seal, you can apply Uncommon, then Rare, and so on….
